do not mind me sending you these photos but I would like to show how
Electric powered aircraft are possible for your style of event.
I am including two shots of a 1/5th
scale extra weighing 9pounds being flown by Sam Wragg who flies as
our demonstration pilot. This model is powered by a Plattenberg 1KW
brushless Outrunner motor and 5S5P combination of Kokam 2amp cells.
The Lipos can deliver 18V @ 80 amps continuous. The model actually
runs @ approx 45 amps average and can fly a twenty minute schedule
before starting to fade. On less windy days we can get more.
I am also including a further photo of
Andre Wragg , Sam's young son prop hanging his 3D Hype and IC
powered at the moment.
